🛬 The end of vacation used to mean BACK TO WORK.🛬 🏡 Now it means WELCOME HOME.🏡 After a long spring break overseas (amazing trip 🗾 for another post) it was time to get back to it. In a previous life, that meant going back to other people's priorities, a commute and no control over my time and tasks. Now, it means coming home to the Small Business Owners Community and my colleagues in the group. When I logged in, over 100 notifications were waiting with members celebrating their wins, answering important questions and solving problems to help one another. After my first post where I shared my return, I had instant messages and comments welcoming me back with genuine concern and care about the trip. When you're building your own hashtag #smallbusiness it's easy to feel isolated. In the community, the coworker effect is real. The members of the group are working to solve the small business support system and together, we're making our journey less lonely and whole lot more fun. If you're in the Milwaukee area, I want to share this group with you. I want you to experience what it's like to connect with others not trying to sell or compete with you but instead they're working to lift you up and grow together. The best way to experience it is during our new in-person Small Business Community Meet Ups. Our next one is next Monday afternoon at Stories Framed Photography in Brookfield. At the meeting, we'll do some networking and I'll lead our signature Idea Slam meeting so you can feel what it's like to have smart, experienced entrepreneurs working for you and solving problems in real time.
