🔍 Do you have more experience to share regarding laser cutting of stainless steel? 🎬 In the video, you'll see our company using laser cutting to process 2mm stainless steel sheets. 🔑 Here are some key points we've learned: 1️⃣ When laser cutting stainless steel, using nitrogen produces smoother and burr-free edges compared to using air. However, it comes with a higher cost. 2️⃣ For high-precision cutting without damaging protective films, we apply machine-readable protective films during material procurement. 3️⃣ Flat laser cutting technology is mature globally. Two low-power machines can process thin sheets much faster than one high-power machine, with lower equipment costs. 4️⃣ Available types of laser cutting machines include flat, robotic arm 3D, and tube-cutting. The first type is suitable for high-power models. 5️⃣ Laser cutting stainless steel saves time and costs compared to stamping, especially for large but low-volume production. However, it's less advantageous for large-volume or high-precision products. 6️⃣ Laser cutting offers higher precision and stability than waterjet cutting but comes at a slightly higher cost. 7️⃣ Despite its advantages, laser cutting, being energy-based, may result in slight non-vertical cuts and precision issues with thicker materials due to energy dispersion.
