🏆The Team Spirit Padel Cup🎾was more than just a JRS Silvateam Ingredients tournament: it was a celebration of teamwork, sportsmanship and social causes, making a tangible difference in our community and beyond. Held at Chiappetta Village in Rende, Southern Italy and in collaboration with Fac Montaggi Industriali and Cutura Costruzioni Srl, we brought together colleagues, suppliers and friends for a day of padel while supporting two impactful local associations: 🤝La Terra di Piero – A charity honouring Piero Romeo, providing humanitarian aid to marginalised communities in Cosenza and Africa. 🌟Associazione Olympia – An inspiring group empowering visually impaired youth to play sports like showdown, a version of table tennis. The event highlighted collaboration, empowerment and the spirit of giving, creating an atmosphere of positive energy and lasting impact. Together, we proved that teamwork can truly make a BIG difference.💪💙 #TeamSpiritPadelCup #CorporateEvent #Padel #Solidarity #SocialResponsibility #Teamwork #LaTerradiPiero #AssociazioneOlympia #FACMontaggiIndustrialSrl #CuturaCostruzioniSrl #ChiappettaVillage

The 2024 Paralympics are here, and athletes such as blind runners have to rely on a tethered guide to compete. Numerous times, this has ended with guides falling mid-race and taking the runners with them. What if there was a simple solution to change the way these athletes could perform? That's where HapticNav comes in. We did it with Simon Wheatcroft, a blind runner who made history by successfully completing the NYC Marathon with our technology. In 2021, we met with Daniela Velasco, a Paralympic runner, and donated our technology in hopes of showcasing the future of the Paralympics. To Daniela, our technology provided a new sense of freedom. For Haptic, it's all about making the world a bit more accessible for everyone. One athlete, One rider, One person at a time. See what Daniela had to say about our technology: https://lnkd.in/gzmgqfFN #HapticFuture #Paralympics #HapticTechnology #FutureOfNavigation.

Everyone at BBF loves rugby. As a business, we get the importance of teamwork, and on a personal level, we know what it means to be part of a herd. The Bristol Bisons RFC are trailblazing inclusivity in rugby and showcasing that everyone has a space and place on and off the pitch. Their energy, enthusiasm and voice for access to sport without prejudice is incredible. And that’s not even mentioning the fact that they are clearly acing the game and always bring the energy to an event! That's why we jumped at the chance to support them with £8,000 towards their training costs over two years. BFF is donating £100k over the next year to help raise up Bristol communities. For the best part, we gift cost-price beer and help our community sell this to generate 3-5 times its value. But we know that beer is not always appropriate and sometimes, groups need hard cash, in real time, to achieve their ambitions. That's why we choose 3 or 4 groups each year and support them with a cash donation; one of them is the Bristol Bisons. Want to find out if the Bisons are your herd? Join them for a trial session on Monday 1st July as part of the Bristol Pride fortnight. Sign up via bisonsrfc.co.uk or if you've missed this window, check them out on socials: instagram.com/bisonsrfc and facebook.com/bisonsrfc Don't forget, every BBF beer you buy gives back to projects and communities like the Bristol Bisons. And as they say themselves, we are #StrongerAsAHerd DRINK WITH PURPOSE #BristolBeerFactory #brewedtogive #standindependent #drinkwithpurpose #bristolcharity #bristol

Please have a read of this post, a great effort been put in by these two! If you can spare some money please donate, and share the post so more people see what they are doing.
Today - Friday 16th August 2024, marks 75 days since Mhairi and I set off on our 7m rowing boat to row around Britain. Since setting off, we have not had any external support - or gone ashore. We had hoped to have been home around ten days ago, however the good old British summer has held us back. My before and current photo says a lot about what we have endured so far, but we chose to be here. Why the long post? Well, we need your help. We are raising vital funds for two amazing charities. Scotland's Charity Air Ambulance (SCAA) and RNLI Please have a look our website for more information, and if you feel like donating, you will not only help the charity(s), but give us a massive mental boost by seeing your support. We have well under 300nm to go, and your support would mean the world to us. Thank you! www.thelongrowhome.co.uk https://lnkd.in/ecFW7T55

TEAM V3NTURE now over halfway in The World’s Toughest Row! 'The World's Toughest Row' is a more than 3,000 mile race across the Atlantic from La Gomera in the Canary Islands to Antigua. The race started on Wednesday 11 December 2024 and the two Robs (Rob Cross & Rob Treasure) and their fellow TEAM V3NTURE oarsman Charlie Newman have now passed the halfway mark! The trio is currently in 9th place overall (36 boats remain in the race) and, as at 12.00 on 4 January 2025 (Day 25 of the race), the trio has already covered over 1,635 nautical miles and has 1,180 nautical miles to go. The team was interviewed live by satellite phone on Matt Frei's LBC Saturday morning show today! The team rows in a shift pattern which means each member rows for 14 hours a day; and important routine tasks aboard ‘Stephen’ include keeping her solar panels clean for vital power generation and clearing barnacles from her hull (which involves swimming). The team has been accompanied by dolphins and has been visited by a Storm petrel. They hope to see a whale (other boats have) and hope to avoid a marlin strike (other boats have been struck). The weather conditions have not been kind in the first half of the race: a combination of adverse winds and Saharan dust clouds forced the fleet to track further south than usual. As a result the team faces the prospect of having rowed about 3,250 statute miles in total when they finally reach Antigua later this month. However, weather conditions are now looking more favourable; and the team is in very good spirits as it embarks on the ‘homeward’ leg of the journey. If you are interested in following the race while in progress, the free YB App is excellent and very easy to use: download at YB Races App | YB Tracking and search for the World's Toughest Row Atlantic 2024. Each team’s location, speed, ranking, distance to travel, etc. can then be seen at a glance. The data is updated every 4 hours. TEAM V3NTURE can be followed on Instagram/X/Facebook: @teamv3nture. Most importantly of all TEAM V3NTURE is seeking to raise money for MacMillan Cancer Support and have raised over £55,000 to date. The target is £140,000 for MacMillan, and if anyone would like to support the team’s charitable fund-raising the link is: https://lnkd.in/erpK7caN. Any support that you are able to give would be hugely appreciated. A huge thank you to those who have already donated.

On the back of our successful debut collaboration - PARK is the official ball of San Marino once again 🇸🇲 The Titanico739 S2 remains completely bespoke and reflective of their unique culture. But take a closer look and you'll notice a special detail. Woven between the leaves, are the names of San Marino’s nine castelli. Directly translated as castles, they represent the individual municipalities and their teams that compete in the Republic’s top flight - the Campionato Sammarinese di Calcio. With their purchase of 1000 footballs for the upcoming season, San Marino is a small country creating a big impact. That’s because through the PARK Pass-a-ball Project, when you buy a ball, we pass another to a player in need around the world. Through this unique partnership, another 1000 balls will be donated to players in need, starting 100,000 games that otherwise wouldn’t have been played. It’s the same PARK one for one impact, FIFA Pro Certified - uniquely made for San Marino and wherever the game takes them. #BrandPartnerships #BrandCollaboration #Collaboration #community #communityfirst

Throughout 2024, Story10 has worked with DP World and 160over90 to promote DP World's initiatives that drive innovation by producing engaging content and distributing it across our global distribution network of 700+ broadcast and 8,500+ digital and social channels. Our most recent story covered HABIB THE HARRIS HAWK, the latest innovative way used by DP World to hunt down golf balls for its 'Second Life Container Initiative', which has collected over 350,000 lost golf balls to support grassroots golf programs globally over the past three years. From UV torch hunts led by Jasmine "The Jazzy Golfer" to innovative efforts like Habib the Harris Hawk retrieving balls, the program continues to reduce waste and promote golf, with campaigns like ‘Balls for Birdies’ donating 65,000+ balls linked to birdies and eagles shot during the season. This year we also covered DP World's 'Beyond Boundaries' initiative aimed at empowering communities through improved access to cricket, with Sachin Tendulkar distributing cricket kits across New York, we also covered Golfer Tommy Fleetwood and F1 driver Lando Norris as they enjoyed a once-in-a-lifetime experience in the 'DP World Driver vs Driver GP'. Some food for thought as you watch the amazing athletes at the Olympics this year. "In a survey of about 1,000 American athletes in the Olympic and Paralympic pipelines, 26.5% reported individual incomes under $15,000 a year." We love watching our country's athletes compete on the world stage, but remember that most are 1) not receiving extra $$$ from the big media and corporate endorsement $$, and 2) even if they get a boost in the Olympic weeks, they've gone through YEARS of hard work and struggle to get there. At Spid Werkz Foundation, we are here to help extraordinary athletes bridge financial and support gaps. With help from you, we can change the story for future athletes and use sport for good across the world! Please consider a tax deductible donation to support Olympic and Paralympic athletes! https://lnkd.in/eqacx6-2
