We're officially in Q2. The year is flying by, and it's time for my quarterly check-in. Every few months I take inventory of my professional and personal life, level set, and work toward new goals. Here are a few things I'm reviewing on both fronts: 1. Ensure our team feels fulfilled by their work; shift priorities pending their feedback. This is ongoing but always a good reminder! 2. Review external partnerships to identify synergies and services that support better member outcomes. 3. Celebrate big and small wins across the board. 4. Plan a summertime family getaway with at least one outdoor activity. What are some things you're thinking about heading into a new quarter?

🌟 Reflecting on a Year of Discovery 🌟(6th May 2023 to 6th May 2024) 🙌 Wow, what a ride! 😄 It's been a whole year since I waved goodbye to my corporate world as an hardworking employee of 10 years, and let me tell you, it's been one heck of an adventure! First off, a big THANK YOU to everyone who's been part of this journey. Your support, encouragement, and high-fives have meant the world to me. 🙌 Leaving behind the suits and ties was like stepping into a whole new universe of possibilities. From learning how to juggle (literally, not just metaphorically!) to mastering the art of making the perfect pancake stack, I've had a blast exploring all sorts of new things. But it hasn't just been about fun and games (although there's been plenty of that!). It's been about discovering a whole new side of myself, diving deep into what makes me tick, and finding joy in the little things. Here are five ways I've evolved as a more confident person and woman over this past year: 1. Embracing Authenticity: Celebrating every quirk and flaw that makes me uniquely me. 2. Cultivating Confidence: Trusting in my abilities and fearlessly taking on new challenges. 3. Prioritizing Self-Care: Making time for my own well-being amidst life's hustle and bustle. 4. Empowering Others: Lifting up fellow women and nurturing a sense of sisterhood and solidarity. 5. Embracing Imperfection: Seeing failures as opportunities for growth and self-discovery. Here's to another year of adventures, laughter, and endless gratitude for the beautiful messiness of life. And a special shoutout to May 6th — may this date remind me each year to keep getting stronger, braver, and more fabulous than the last! Cheers to all of you amazing souls who've been part of this wild ride with me! Let's keep the good times rolling! 🥳🚀 #AdventureTime #GratitudeAttitude #NewBeginnings #FunAndGames #CheersToYou #6thMay #Women #empowerment #confidence #professional

#Navigating the Unknown Path A journey is not just a physical passage; it's a transformative journey through uncharted territories. It's a blend of challenges that build resilience, beautiful encounters that enrich the soul and moments that shapes us. It's not just about the destinations reached but the lessons learned and perspectives gained along the way. Every step is not just movement; it's a chance to evolve, to uncover the authentic self. Ultimately, the journey itself, with its trials and revelation - is a perpetual cycle of growth and self-discovery. It's a testament to the profound beauty of our human trip. As we navigate through 2024, whether in our professional or personal paths, let's embrace these guiding principles: - Begin the journey - Encounter and confront challenges - Explore growth opportunities - Have moments of reflections - See the journey as the destination (not solely about reaching predefined milestones but about lessons learned, relationships forged and personal growth attained throughout the period). May we carry this guidance throughout 2024, nurturing growth and self- discovery in both our personal and professional journeys. 🧐Get in touch for details of a #visionboard section with me in this first quarter. #workanniversary #HRs #HappyNewYear #A year at GREL Work anniversary lunch with a section of my team(HR)

Summer’s here - yay! - and so is Chris Chen's #Impactiversary - double yay! 🧁️ The Director of our Property team, Chris has been with us for more than a couple Impactiversary celebrations now, but we never get sick of singing his praises. Let's see what the team had to say about working with this guy, shall we? 〰️ "Chris is a natural leader, he's a team player who knows his stuff and never hesitates to step in and help out however he can. He's his team's biggest support and genuinely wants to see them succeed. He's an excellent resource for anyone new to the industry and, at the same time, he's open to learning, too. Great person, through and through." 〰️ "He doesn't take himself too seriously, and I really like that in a leader. He's down to earth, kind, smart and supportive." 〰️ "Chris always makes time for you, no matter how busy he is and how much else he has going on. He's a great person to talk problems through with, a good friend and a kind person. He's also quick to laugh, easy to connect with and really great at what he does." 〰️ "How would I describe Chris? Okay, three words: funny, supportive, hard-working. Oh, and team player. I've actually got a lot more, but I'll keep it short and sweet." Help us celebrate another year of Chris Chen in the comments, won't you? #CheersToYou #Kudos #WorkAnniversary #TeamImpact #Property #Recruitment

There’s a correlation between your volume of work and your volume of luck; the more work you do, the more luck you make. There’s a place for luck, but it doesn’t take the place of work. In sports competitions or tournaments, the best might not necessarily win it, neither does the worst, the winners must have displayed evidence of hardwork, so, work to make your luck. Happy new working week. Modesty

Lessons learned as I reflect back on my one year anniversary at Navistar Inc 💡 Goals are good if you want to win once. Systems are best if you want to win repeatedly. Although goals are essential and necessary for clarity and getting us started, they won't solve lingering pain points or bridge gaps. Focusing on developing/improving systems and processes is the secret sauce to long-term success. Ultimately, we don't rise to the level of our goals. We fall to the level of our systems. 💡Don't worry about changing people's mindset. Focus on changing the mechanics within the system and by default it will yield the desired outcomes. This is particularly relevant for #Diversity, #Equity, #Inclusion, and #Belonging initiatives post the Supreme Court's repeal of Affirmative Action. DEI isn't a marketing stunt. DEI isn't a handout, DEI isn't about lowering standards. DEI is about embracing, unifying and leveraging our diversity to perform at the highest levels of creativity and innovation while in a welcoming and inclusive environment where EVERYONE can thrive and be their authentic self. 💡 No one succeeds alone. Giving credit to others doesn't undermine you. It's actually a sign of your confidence and humility. Transitioning from tackling projects to shaping strategic priorities. It's been an incredible journey from intern to full-time employee! Photo credit: Camarri Lane #RidewithNavistar #DEI
