🙏 Thanks, OncologyTube.com! The questions were fantastic and on point. It was great to talk about our burgeoning global #cancer consortium, #HoLISTIC (see HERE: https://lnkd.in/e_wP65ZD). I discussed the genesis of the consortium and the findings from our most recent research abstract presentation at the American Society of Hematology (ASH) on predictive modeling for early-stage Hodgkin lymphoma, HL (aka, the E-HIPI; see HERE: https://lnkd.in/dNbM2wSp). 📲 Similar to the advanced-stage data analytics predictive model we presented at last year's ASH meeting and contemporaneously published in the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Journal of Clinical Oncology (see HERE: https://lnkd.in/e3N9h7_C), we leveraged rigorous #TRIPOD modeling methodology to identify the most robust pre-treatment factors that predicted progression & death over 5 yrs for HL patients with newly-diagnosed early-stage disease (using continuous & detailed data scales). 📈 There is MUCH more to come as we create dynamic decision support tools that enhance personalized cancer care, including expansion of the E-HIPI model with calibration & decision analyses as well as the future incorporation of other critical factors such as differing treatment options and interim PET imaging vis-a-vis multistate modeling. Ryan Jacobs, the Director of Lymphoma at Levine Cancer Institute - Cleveland, presents in this MEDtalk an update on his research from the EHA 2023 meeting on AZD-0486, a novel CD19/CD3 T-cell engager used in treating relapsed refractory follicular lymphoma. September was the awareness month for all leukemia, lymphoma, gynecological, ovarian, and prostate cancer. However, there is still a need for more awareness, because several of these cancers are not included in guideline recommended screenings. Moreover, even though many had an option of targeted therapies such as PARPinhibitors, still the equity is the problem to access testings and treatments.
