As many of you may know, a critical vulnerability was discovered in Ivanti Pulse Connect Secure VPN, a widely used solution. This vulnerability could allow attackers to gain access to sensitive data and systems, potentially compromising the entire network. While our first reaction is to focus on our own environment, we must not overlook the importance of vendor management, especially for third-party software and services essential for business continuity. Vendor management is not just about selecting the best providers, but also ensuring they meet our organization's security standards and compliance requirements. It involves monitoring their performance, updating their contracts, and auditing their practices regularly.
