Break Fake Rules! 💪 Loving this video series out of Stupski Foundation on all the "rules" driving philanthropy that need to be questioned, flipped or composted. Thanks Stupski CEO Glen Galaich and Pia Infante for naming and sharing. -- We need to give tidal waves not teaspoons (of funding) -- The 5% payout = a teaspoon structure. -- The flaws of strategic philanthropy—too donor-centric and focuses on donors to determine strategies and  pathways for action. -- The silo’fication of philanthropy: We work only on “this X issue” to the exclusion of all variables that make up the interconnected crises we face and the polycrisis world we live in -- Need to right size and re-imagine the role donor preferences play (to be in deeper accountability to the communities we serve)
