Jubilee Park & Community Center’s Post

We have some VERY exciting news ... Jubilee was awarded a $992,000 Promise Neighborhoods Grant from the U.S. Department of Education! This historic grant—the first-ever in Dallas and the first in Texas in over a decade—will fund the Jubilee Park Promise Neighborhood Initiative (PNI). Over the next two years, we will focus on education, workforce readiness, and community growth, helping Jubilee youth navigate one of the most pivotal times in their lives and bridge the opportunity gap in post-secondary education. “This is the kind of initiative that transforms a city. By investing in children and families, we’re building a stronger, more connected Dallas.” - Marissa Castro Mikoy, President & CEO We’re honored to lead this work with partners like Dallas ISD Career and Technical Education, Child Poverty Action Lab (CPAL), Jewish Family Service of Greater Dallas (JFS), and The Addy Foundation Center on Research and Evaluation (CORE) at SMU to create pathways that expand opportunities for families and youth in Southeast Dallas.
