Today, we're talking about faith. You know, faith is a word that can be used in many disciplines. Many people have faith in their sports team, be it football, baseball. I don't know all the different sports we can throw in that bucket they have faith-based on. Their hometown. I know my team is gonna win based on statistics based on having watched a game. We have faith. In people that we have seen come through for us or faith in. I don't know our bank because it always pays our bills. Like we just use faith loosely. I wanted to talk about a definition of faith today that. CS Lewis wrote. And it reminds us that our faith is not supposed to be based on circumstances. It's supposed to be based. On a belief system. Of who created this world? And who we serve. Let me share this one with you. Faith. Is the art of holding on to things your reason has once accepted in spite of your changing moods. For moods will change. This rebellion of your moods against your real self is going to come anyway. That is why faith is such a necessary virtue. Unless you teach your moods where they get off. You will be just as a creature, dithering to and fro, with its beliefs really dependent on the weather and the state of its digestion. Faith. What's your definition of faith and how?
