Mono Filament Tape Egret so-called Mono filament tape is used a lot for refrigerators & packing industries. It is transparent color. Normally is coated with synthetic rubber resin glue. Plus, it has no liner. The base material is BOPP or PET, laminated fiber glass. The material has very high tensile strength and low elongation, not stretchable, and hard to tear. Because of this feature, it is suitable for temporarily holding the plastic or metal parts without moving. In the meantime, after you remove the tape, it has no glue residue on the surface. 🔎 Focus on our converting processes - Lamination 🔎 Dry lamination involves bonding two or more strips of a flexible backing material using an adhesive dissolved in a solvent (if adhesive tape is used, the process is called complexing). These strips can be made of film, paper or aluminium foil. The adhesive is applied to the less absorbent strip, which is then bonded to the second strip by the high pressure exerted by rollers (heated if necessary), to produce an ultra-resistant lamination. This lamination can consist of two layers (duplex), three layers (triplex), or more.
