I was reminded this weekend the impact of your daily habits and how much they build up who you are today. Some achievements that I hit this weekend: - Crossed 50 days on my #duolingo streak for the first time (thanks Luke Storm & Heather Storm, y’all are great friends I’m happy to have in my life) - Completed my 500th #meditation in Apple Fitness - A general win of getting back to completing most of my self-prescribed #habits in a day. Each day is another opportunity to push yourself forward and become a better version of yourself! Keep pushing forward and the gains and changes you seek will begin to manifest around you. #motivation

I would love to know more about the design decision behind tying the sign in with LinkedIn to be tied to the email address that was used at the time of sign up. This makes it so that if you change your LinkedIn email address for whatever reason you may need to, you can no longer sign in to anything that was a "Sign up with LinkedIn" account until changing your account back to your old address. To me, the benefit of using LinkedIn as a method of sign up is not having to worry about what email account I'm using for whatever service that leverages that account. What am I missing here #linkedin ?

Last week I hit a pretty low note but what a difference a week can make. It's like they say, it's always darkest before dawn. A huge shoutout to those of you who reached out last week on and offline. Your collective encouragement has been the energy I needed to get back into the fight (queue Goku charging the Spirit Bomb). With my mind on being open to the possibilities of tomorrow, here's a run down of a number of the shifts: - Reconnected with connections made back at Denver Startup Week - Received more than one invitation to have a human to human interview about a position after months of radio silence - I had a bit of a moment with Frontend Masters, jumping from 1% to 13% in like 2-3 days. - Moved on to the technical challenge for one of those opportunities and am successfully building out a project where I'm jumping into one of the languages for the first time! The negative streak has been broken. Whether or not the current opportunities morph into “THE” opportunity, I am super grateful to the collective experience rescuing me from mental carbonite. It feels good to be moving forward again. A world of thanks for your support. Social anxieties can easily hold you back from doing something you know you want to do. Yesterday I went to #denverstartupweek and after standing outside the event space and reaching out to friends for an extra vote of confidence, I crossed the threshold and had a great time making new connections! Yesterday felt a bit like getting back a bit of my old self. I'm so grateful that I took the time to join Black Tech Denver and Janackeh took the time to invite me to their event a couple of weeks ago. Thanks to that, I made a connection that has pushed me towards being creative again and man does it feel great to write and record music again. Is what I did ready for the spotlight? Absolutely not lol, but it is a step towards something and it provides an outlet to be authentically me and happier about who that is.
