We were privileged to attend the Women's Leadership Institute conference last week. When we speak of the urgency of women’s leadership, sometimes people think it is at the disadvantage of men. However, the truth is that we firmly believe in being allies and advocates with men and that men are crucial in this process. It takes all of us to open continued opportunities, support success, and bring in voices that might not currently be represented. There is value in gender diversity. Women increase productivity, often enhance collaboration, inspire and speak up for others and build community.
