✅ above average salary, generous perks ✅ well-paying job in corporate management ✅ senior role that showcases my abilities & leadership skills I had all these three years ago but took the plunge and left. I felt a strong pull to start something of my own and really make a difference. I was frustrated with the stiff old ways of doing business and excited by how technology could change things for the better. The decision to leave a secure job and dive into the startup world was scary. I had many sleepless nights, filled with doubts and the fear of failing. However, I was driven by a vision. A vision of leaving a legacy to the next generation and helping provide jobs to those who didn't have a chance at life. The turning point came when I started using remote work technologies, which were just beginning to catch on. This not only supported my business model but also helped me land my first clients. I worked tirelessly to meet my clients' needs and build my company's reputation. The support from my family and the trust of my early clients were invaluable. They weren’t just clients; they were true partners. Three years in, we're flourishing. My company supports clients around the globe with a dedicated team of remote and on-site professionals. I share this story to show what can happen when you dare to leave your comfort zone and go after your dream. If you're thinking about making a big leap, here's my insider tip... Go for it! Believe in your ability to succeed. You might achieve more than you ever thought possible. Build your dream or someone else will hire you to build theirs. I'm gonna leave you my favorite line from an influencer who I can't remember the name 😂 "You owe it to yourself to be great."

Do You Know What Will Prevent Your Best Performers From Hopping? As I mentioned, I've left some jobs for reasons that had nothing to do with more money. Whether it was relocation, a desire to travel, a need to travel less, or the desire to work remotely, the one thing those changes had in common was that they were specific to my situation and preferences.  The other thing they had in common was that the place I was leaving did not have the flexibility to offer me what I wanted. Could the role have centered on doing more online training so I could travel less? Could a little remote work availability have kept me there longer? Could a fully remote position have allowed me to continue working and relocate?  We'll never know because that wasn't offered. The frustration of not getting a job on time can be disheartening, especially when you putting so much efforts, tailoring each application and honing your skills. As more people compete for flexible remote jobs, the process can become long and unpredictable which can lead to self-doubt and discouragement. One of the hardest part is dealing with the prolonged waiting period and silence after application. Each can feel like an investment of time and hope, but rejection or the lack of responses can leave wondering if doing something wrong. There's also the added stress of seeing others post about their successes on social media, which can your efforts feel invisible or inadequate by comparison. On top of that, the evolving demands of remote jobs may push you to continuously upskill, making the journey feel like a never ending cycle. It's common to experience burnout from the repetitive task of applying, interviewing, and adapting to feedback without a guarantee of landing a role. However frustration can serve as a motivator to reassess your approach, seek support and adjust your strategy. Networking with other job seekers, reaching out to potential mentors, or even shifting your perspective can offer you fresh insight and make the journey manageable. The road maybe tough, but persistence and adaptability are often the key's to eventually securing the remote job. ##Encougement # Patience # Persistence

Open the job pool and take a chance – look outside the normal box! Are companies limiting their potential by sticking too rigidly to exact job titles or onsite requirements? What if offering more flexibility, like remote with travel, could unlock a whole new world of talent? Many candidates are out there, ready to challenge the status quo and bring fresh perspectives, but they’re often overlooked because they don’t tick all the traditional boxes. Personal experience: When I was working at a previous company, I told them I had to quit because I couldn’t continue working in the office after my family moved to Florida. Without hesitation, they offered me the flexibility to work from home. They knew it would cost them more since my role involved training and getting operations/sales up to speed, but they didn’t let that stop them. They trusted me, and the flexibility allowed us to maintain a strong relationship while still meeting the needs of the business. In another role, I was asked to work hybrid – 2-3 days in the office. But I quickly found myself driving in just to sit on calls all day while others worked remotely. The truth is, my interactions with the CEO were more frequent via phone and Zoom than in person, and the noise in the office made it harder to focus and be productive. The office presence wasn’t necessary and actually created more distractions. Here’s the bigger picture: Titles and requirements don’t always define whether someone is the right fit. My skills matched the roles I took on, even when the titles didn’t. The experience I brought to the table was far more valuable than the title on my resume. Employers should focus on transferable skills and the potential for growth rather than ticking every box.
