Did you know you can do a "Home-based training for first-year surgery residents: learning to perform an open manual intestinal anastomosis with remote and asynchronous feedback." This study investigates the feasibility of remote training for complex surgical skills using an at-home open manual intestinal anastomosis (MIA) program for first-year surgery residents. Our findings show a trend towards improved performance and decreased procedural time. Additionally, 71% of participants found the feedback helpful for error correction and skill improvement, while 86% reported increased confidence.
