"𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐌𝐑𝐈. 𝐈𝐬 𝐢𝐭 𝐚𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐲?!" 🤔 Struggling to understand pros and cons of using the oversampling in MRI? Do not worry, 𝐰𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩! 👊 On our latest educational video we focus on the role of the oversampling parameter in MRI, showcasing some examples of its impact on our image quality. While it is undeniable that adding some oversampling % can be beneficial to get rid of the classic "𝐰𝐫𝐚𝐩-𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐭" and increase our 𝐒𝐍𝐑 level, there are some drawbacks that should always be considered, along with potential alternative sequence acquisition strategies like, for example, swapping the 𝐩𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐞-𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠. We discuss about this and much more on "𝐅𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐌𝐑 𝐎𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 - 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠" (Link for 𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥 𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐨 in comments) 🎥 🌍 As usual, we would like to invite you to share your experience and any additional oversampling 𝐭𝐢𝐩𝐬 & 𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐬 in the comments. 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐯𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝𝐰𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐌𝐑𝐈 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬! 🔔 Click "𝐅𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰" to avoid missing any future MR educational video, and don't forget to 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐞 this focus on MR optimisation with your network. Until next time, I will see you around 🫡 #MRI #MagneticResonanceImaging #Radiographer #Radiologist #MRIradiographer #MRItechnologist #MRsequence #MRparameters #Oversampling #ImageQuality #ArtifactReduction #ImageOptimisation #MRIcommunity #EverythingMRI
