🌐 BENEFITS THAT I BRING TO INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL CUSTOMER SERVICE AS A PROFESSIONAL IN LOGISTICS 🌐 During my professional career I have had several roles and functions in different organizations and industries. A fundamental part of the interaction with the areas mentioned and others involved in the supply chain is assertive and open communication to have a correct planning and in case of eventualities, to have the best expeditious solutions. As an International Logistics Manager, the benefits that I consider essential for a better customer satisfaction and its direct impact on the KPI's: 1. Fast and reliable deliveries. 🚚 On-time delivery (OTD) is one of the main focuses, this not only implies delivering the final product, but also having the raw material available at the right time for its transformation (production plan). 2. Cost reduction. 💰 Generating operational savings not only include transportation costs, by having a good planning not only includes production times, should be considered stops for preventive maintenance, overtime, training plans, among others. 3. Have standardized and clear processes. 📔 Maintaining continuous improvement as a fundamental part, generates that plus that distinguishes not only an area, but also an organization. With this we avoid waste (over processes, unnecessary movements, downtime, etc.). The results we achieve will lead... To better quality products and services. 😀 High quality standards at a low cost will attract loyal customers, increasing sales and profits. ➡ These are some of the benefits I consider personally. Understanding Inventory Control: When working at a business that sells products to customers, being able to manage inventory is an essential aspect of operations. Controlling the inventory levels in a warehouse can help you maximize profits and fulfill customer orders in a timely manner. Learning about the concept of inventory control and its impact on business is a useful tool for anyone interested in working with business operations and logistics. What is inventory control? Inventory control is the act of managing the number of products in stock at any time and supervising the flow of products through a warehouse to optimize business operations. Effective inventory control emphasizes having the ideal number of each item to fulfill operations, while minimizing the amount of inventory waiting in the warehouse. This typically involves stocking large amounts of most used items and small amounts of products with fewer use. Importance of inventory control It provides you with the tools to understand your current resources and ensure you manage them strategically. The actions involved with inventory control support both short-term and long-term business development. By using inventory control methods, you can keep the levels of stock necessary to maintain the operations running and reduce cost of buy unnecessary spares or fines for having equipments not working on the process plant. Leaders must rely on inventory control to guide decisions like plan shutdowns or just basic general maintanance. #materialpreservation #materialinventory #inventorycontrol #offshore #oilandgas #opentowork #jobsearch #hireme #jobhunt #jobseeker #hiring #recruitment #jobsearching #remotework
