IFA specialising in the legal profession | I help you reach financial independence, providing clarity, security and peace of mind | Dad to 3 boys under 5 | Recovering lawyer
Four of the most common reasons people enjoy working with me, are: 1. Peace of mind, knowing they aren’t making expensive financial mistakes 🤑 2. The weight being lifted after I help them do something they’ve meant to do for ages 🧘 3. I help them with what they didn’t know, they didn’t know - those unidentified financial risks 🛸 4. They want to outsource the stress and management, as it frees up their time and energy to do fun stuff ⏳ 🌊 This doesn’t even include my tendency to use GIFs to chase clients, or my sea analogies! 🌊 If you want to know more, DM me “Peace of mind” and I’ll share more info.

What would you do if given 12 months to live? 🤔 This article by Dan Solin caught my eye. It's a poignant read, shedding light on planning for end-of-life scenarios. Dan shares valuable insights on handling such challenging times. As financial advisors, we play a crucial role in supporting our clients and their families during these tough moments. Dan's perspective on "capitulating" to an illness instead of "fighting" it resonates deeply. It reminds us that some things are beyond our control. We can guide our clients in assembling the right team to manage administrative and financial matters, allowing their loved ones to cherish every moment. Let's continue to provide compassion and expertise as we navigate delicate situations with empathy and professionalism. #FinancialAdvisors #EndOfLifePlanning #SupportingClients #TeamCollaboration https://lnkd.in/edaTgQSW

Never underestimate the power of giving employees hope that their financial lives can improve and the peace of mind that comes with knowing that they don’t have to face their financial challenges alone. When employees have the support of a non-judgmental, empathetic financial expert they can trust, who will understand their financial needs and priorities, and help them connect with real solutions that address them, their mindset starts to change. That’s just part of what makes Brightside Financial Assistants so critical to how we improve the financial health of working families with Financial Care. Hear Erica, one of our valued Financial Assistants, explain her role in this short clip: https://lnkd.in/dPZyen7j #FinancialCare #FinancialWellness #FinancialHealth #EmployeeBenefits #HR #Benefits

Are you a People Pleaser? If you are, it will get in the way of you being an effective financial advisor. Let’s start with what a People Pleaser is, lest we be unclear. A People Pleaser is someone who cares more about making people happy than almost anything else. They don’t want to make anyone mad or upset. They don’t want to cause conflict. They want to make people happy, but if they can’t do that, they definitely don’t want to make them unhappy! I am not a psychologist, so I won’t opine the reasons people become People Pleasers, but I will attempt to bring attention to the challenge it causes for the afflicted. This is our topic this week.
