$530 million in sales generated through affiliates and creators. I help companies increase their reach and their revenue with profitable partnerships.
I want to share some powerful lessons I have learned from my dear friend and mentor, Lee Richter. Lee is a very successful business owner, legendary investor, and probably the most well connected person I know. I have learned so much from her in the last 4 years, and I want to share some of the lessons I have learned with you, so you can learn from her too. #1: Partner on Projects, Don’t Be Business Partners This tip alone has saved me over 7 figures in the last 2 years. While on a trip together to Antarctica, Lee was watching me get ready to sign half of my company away to someone. She took me aside and warned me that I didn’t need to do that. Lee said she had confidence in me to do it alone, but if I wanted to partner she recommended I at least test pilot the partnership by partnering on a project before giving away half of my equity. I took her advice and partnered with him for 6 months as a trial period on two projects. It ended up costing me 6 figures, and this person brought almost nothing to the table. But it would have cost me far more than that to be his business partner, not to mention the joy would have been sucked out of the business for me to be tied to someone who wasn’t the right fit. She was right, I could do it on my own, and it’s 100% better for me and for that company for me to be on my own. #2 Batteries Included Lee only hires people with batteries included. Meaning they come with skills and experience. She’s going to spend more to get the best for the role because she wants to be able to hand the reins over to a true professional. If they aren’t experienced enough, they have insane talent, are brilliant and she will spend time training them but that is a special case. Which one was your favorite? Would love to hear from you. Lee is coming to our Big Annual Event in Orlando... are you? Apply Here: https://lnkd.in/exzWSDrJ
