What an honor to be a moderator at the South Florida Manufacturers Association’s Women in Manufacturing fireside chat, sharing the stage with Lisa Lutoff-Perlo and Christine Battles. It was the power in this connection, collaboration, and inspiration that I loved so much!! With “Smarts, Heart, and Courage” Lisa has been making waves throughout her remarkable journey rising to the top in a male dominated industry, shattering many glass ceilings, and navigating challenges along the way. I encourage you to read her book “Making Waves” as it will not only inspire and empower you, but also provide you with remarkable lessons. Lisa- Thank you for sharing your lessons and journey with us. But above all, thank you for sharing your authenticity and for leading with empathy. I’m grateful for those powerful words of encouragement that touched my heart! You’re right…We don’t have to always have a plan and that’s okay. So I’ll continue making waves while I “just figure it out” along the way. P.S. Congrats again on your appointment to the Amerant Bancorp Inc. (NYSE: AMTB) Board of Directors! 🧡 Thank you to everyone for the support. Your contribution to this event allowed us to make a donation to Junior Achievement of South Florida’s Girls Rule event and impact lives! “Hats off” to women: A shoutout to the two women-owned businesses who displayed their artistry at the event: Klassic Hatwear Fashions and Gypsie Life Co. With love & gratitude, Eli #TheConnector #connections #manufacturing #collaboration #networking #entrepreneurship #leadership
