Hey friends, we’ve started the process of adoption and need your HELP… Over the last few months, we’ve been busy filling out paperwork, working with our adoption coach and attorney, and completing our home study. Now, it’s time for us to search far and wide to find the birth mom who will help us make this dream come true. We’re hoping you’ll join us in this journey and keep us top of mind if you hear about adoption opportunities in your network. We don’t know how this will unfold or how long it will take. 13 years ago today, I founded ZUM Communications. I thought I was starting a business. But instead, I was gifted a family. Every 45 seconds, at least one LGBTQ youth attempts to suicide…But having even one☝🏽supportive adult in their life can reduce the risk of suicide by 40%! As a gay kid growing up in a religious family, I didn’t feel safe or supported. That’s why I’m passionate about bringing more love to LGBTQ+ kids today — especially those who struggle in religious communities. If you’re also passionate about bringing #morelove, here are some actions you can take… 1. Comment “More Love” and share this with your network. 2. Show more love to LGBTQ youth in your own communities. Remember, you can BE THE ONE! 3. 1. Because a “thank you” from you matters to us more than you realize. 2. Because it makes us want to do even more for you and the company. 3. Because it builds a more human connection between us. 4. Because we’ve been working our tails off and a simple “thank you” from you shows you see that. 5. Because (and most of us won’t tell you this but…) not taking the time to say “thank you” hurts a little.
