I'm PUMPED about this book from the young authors at 826 Boston. I love reading these pieces with my toddler... full of amazing life lessons, for both me and him. Here's some of our faves: 💰 📚 "If you are kind/ You will find/ Friends, if you are a scholar/ You will earn a dollar/ Or many..." 🖍 "My friends ate some crayons and my friends are 7 years old and I am 5.... My friends left school because they got sick. Lucky me, I didn't eat crayons. I didn't get sick! So do not eat some crayons even if it looks yummy." 🌑 💡 "It's normal to be scared of the dark, so be as brave as you can be. If you think you are scared of the dark, it's because you're afraid of the future and what's going to happen next. You can solve that by remembering that not everything in movies, the Internet, or TV shows is real. Most scary shows take place in a dark room." ✍🏼 "Write down your passwords and usernames on pieces of paper to remember them." 💔 "Loving your mom is the most important thing because she takes care of you and you should value her now because one day she will get old and disappear." 📝 "Mi consejo sería que los niños aprendan a escribir sus ideas y sentimientos para sentirse mejor." ("My advice would be for children to learn to write down their ideas and feelings to feel better" .... talk about the spirit of 826!)
