Check out DeeDee’s Cry - the only BIPOC focused Suicide Prevention Organization in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. You can learn more about Toy Burton and her work at the upcoming BIPOC Wellness Expo hosted by Just Dream Inc. Find more information about the event here. https://lnkd.in/eFjmQUBh
Founder/Executive Director at DeeDee's Cry Suicide Prevention & Family Support and the Roxbury Unity Parade
On September 10, DeeDee's Cry celebrated our 6-year anniversary. We are the only BIPOC suicide prevention organization in the state, but we are not listed on the state's website for suicide prevention resources. Massachusetts is doing a disservice to communities of color by not providing them with this resource. #suicidepreventionmonth #suicideprevention #healthequity
