If you want to maximize your profit through visual presentation, then you want your Visual Merchandising Director in stores and less in office. If you allow them to work from anywhere, you can get the best talent anywhere and don’t have to pay for relocation expense. They can fly into main office when needed. They can do zoom meeting anytime of the day. With technology changing so fast, I see this as the best future of the Visual Merchandising and your your company.

Is visual merchandising an innate skill? The answer is yes and no, according to my experience. An intuitive understanding of color, balance, and composition is a must, but with the right mentor, anyone can develop their visual merchandising skills over time. I have had the opportunity to work with capable newcomers, nurturing their talent and helping elevate their visual merchandising careers. Here, I came across two groups of people who wanted to pursue a career in visual merchandising. One group had natural abilities and pure talent that needed direction and discipline, while the other had a strong sense of determination but needed training on the foundations. And guess what? I have seen people succeed in VM from both of these groups! So, if visual merchandising interests you but you feel like you don't have the natural skill set for it, don't let that deter you. Finding the right mentor is key. Visual merchandising is an exciting aspect of retail that helps you look at a brand holistically - from a creative as well as a commercial perspective. #retail #visualmerchandising #dontgiveuponyourdreams

🌟 New Series on Visual Merchandising Unveiled! 🌟 Dear Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, Department Manager, Store VM, City VM, Cluster VM, Regional VM, and Business Manager – you are the unsung heroes keeping the retail world running smoothly, and I salute you for your superheroic efforts! But don't do this. 🦸♂️ Recently, I had the opportunity to visit a fantastic store and couldn't help but share my thoughts on something that caught my attention. While I completely appreciate the tremendous effort that goes into the seamless operation of stores, from the receiving of stock to the meticulous supply chain management, I observed a minor hiccup that I believe we can collectively address. I noticed the fitting rooms adorned with stock cartoons. I understand the challenges of managing stock flow and the crucial role it plays in achieving our sales targets. However, I'd like to suggest a small tweak that could enhance the overall shopping experience for customers. Removing the cartoons from the fitting room or floor area might seem like a small step, but it can make a big difference. I acknowledge that stock rooms are already filled to the brim, and resolving this might take some effort, but I believe it's a worthy investment in our customers' satisfaction. As a customer, I've experienced the exceptional work you all have put in to maintain the momentum in the past, and I know you can tackle this challenge too. P.S - And a quick note on sharing photos – my intention is not to defame anyone or any brand.
