Meet our Accounting Department's newest (and cutest) member, Charlie! 🐶📊
From serious number crunching to bringing a bit of fun into the office, Charlie knows how to balance the books and brighten our day. 🐾💼
I just love seeing all the resolutions our accounting partners are making in the new year! 👏 See the full scoop on these below, and maybe get some inspiration if you are looking for a few of your own.
I already shared a bit on my own resolution for the year, which is 'intentionality'. So far - it's going well. Almost one month in, and I'm already seeing some progress:
1. I succumbed to the Peloton craze (albeit through a sweet FB Marketplace deal.. since I'm a cheap accountant 🤣). I'm proud of the consistency since I've had it - I hear there's an acct. club - how do I get in? 🚲😉
2. Being very transparent with my team on how I want to lead in the new calendar year, and I deployed a training plan for my leadership team around Intuit's Leadership Playbook to up-level how we show up for our teams.
3. I've finished 3 books and working on a few others - Will have some truth bombs to share shortly from some of the books I'm reading. 🤯
4. And, I've been maximizing the time with my kiddos who are at such a fun age right now, but I want to keep expanding this.
As we wrap up the first month of 2024 (already!), I wanted to ask how are your resolutions going so far? Have you seen any changes?

It's a new year and a fresh start! 🚀🍾
We asked several of our accounting partners what their resolution was for 2024. What's yours? Let us know in the comments below. 👇
Meet Andrea Hodak, our Senior Controlling Specialist!
Andrea joined our team half a year ago and she has proven to be a great asset to the team.
Although her position includes a lot of controlling, trust us, she’s strict only when our finances are in question.
And when she’s not looking at endless spreadsheets, she’s probably somewhere traveling with her family.
If you want to read more about Andrea and how she got into finances, swipe through!

Oh how FAB!
Accountants and bookkeepers Assemble!
I'm so looking forward to attending an event back in the spiritual home of all accounting industry events....BIRMINGHAM.
C'mon every event used to be there, and sometimes you could even find yourself accidently in Crufts (didn't happen), or nearly in back stage at an Alice Cooper gig (did actually happen) - because the NEC is brilliant.
Really excited about what the AccountingWEB.co.uk and Accounting Excellence crew have in store, and of course...trying to add to the fun.
Not my usual gig, and that's what makes it allllll the more interesting.
Come and see.
