Getting a little bit personal here… I am one of those people Daniel Florness talks about here. Starting out as a #parttime Sales Support in the middle of a career shift away from #tradework … I thought of Fastenal as a #resumebuilder and a #careergapfiller initially. Sometimes a job is a job, right? 6 years later (almost to the day) I am a #leader of our #recruiting operations for 6 states, work with the best #team of highly #talented leaders from very #diverse work backgrounds, and have been able to #upskill and #train into roles I never thought I would step into… all without having to skip from company to company.
