I just wrapped up an incredible workshop in Johor Bahru, and while I hosted it here, attendees came from all over—Penang, KL, and the majority working in Singapore. What does that tell you? These traders made an effort to show up. So, to those who’ve been asking about my workshops but didn’t attend—ask yourself, Do you really deserve success if you’re not willing to show up for it? In that small group of 10, I felt the energy of people who genuinely wanted to make a change. They didn’t just come to learn—they came to grow. My workshop isn’t your typical formal classroom. I’ve been a student before, and I believe learning should be engaging and enjoyable. That’s why we worked through the material in an environment built for growth—not stress. But here’s what really sets my workshop apart: I introduced them to facts backed by data. What I teach isn’t just theory—it’s based on proven strategies, backed by data from backtesting. And the best part? They didn’t just listen to me—they did it themselves. They saw the results firsthand. To make sure they truly grasped the material, each person came up and presented their understanding, one by one. It’s not about pressure—it’s about giving them the chance to demonstrate and reinforce what they learned. Unlike personal coaching, where I sit with someone 1-on-1 for two days, this group presentation allowed me to correct and guide them immediately. This, I believe, is one of the most effective ways to learn. Johor, I will definitely come back again very soon. So, here’s my message: Success comes to those willing to invest in themselves and take action, not just speaking for 0. If you’re still on the fence about attending a workshop, ask yourself—are you really ready to make a change? If you are, I’m here to guide you. My next workshop will be in Penang, followed by KL. I feel proud to have completed the 'Developing Effective Training Need Analysis' training organized by PT Generasi Indonesia Berkelas in June 2024. This training provides comprehensive insight into the importance and methods for conducting an effective analysis of training needs within the organization. During training, I learned: 1. Methodology to identify specific and relevant training needs. 2. Data collection techniques, including interviews, surveys, and observations. 3. How to analyze data to determine skills and knowledge gaps. 4. Development of training recommendations that are in accordance with the strategic objectives of the organization. 5. Evaluate the effectiveness of training to ensure performance improvement. Through this training, I not only improved my analytical skills but also gained an in-depth understanding of how to design appropriate and efficient training programs. I am sure this skill will be invaluable in my role as Learning and Development, helping to improve team performance and achieve organizational goals.
