Several members of the JVM team recently attended National Apartment Association (Naahq) #Apartmentalize, connecting with our industry peers and learning from the brightest thought leaders in multifamily. The conference was packed with an innovative spirit that has our team grateful to work alongside such passionate, dynamic professionals.   Our top takeaways: 🤝 The Human Element: While our business is centered on property performance, the way we get there is with our people. Hiring talented associates is just the first step - thoughtful training, enhancing the employee experience, and building strong teams will always be the driving force to success. In this human-centric industry, we recognize that by investing in our teams, we invest in all our people - employees, residents, and partners alike. 🔎 Strengthen Foundations: In short - get good at being good. Especially during times of challenging economic climates and rapid change, it's imperative to employ a disciplined, strategic approach. At JVM, we leverage data to hone in on where we succeed and opportunities for improvement through actionable feedback. This enables our teams to direct their focus on areas of key impact, and offers a steady base to explore new technologies and innovative strategies. 🛠 Maintain Your Maintenance: Maintenance teams play a critical role in property performance and reputation management. Stu Rangel, Regional Maintenance Manager, noted his most memorable sessions emphasized the importance of thorough, ongoing training of best practices, demonstrating balance between speed & quality, and familiarizing teams with PropTech solutions that support their impact on the resident experience. ⚡AI to Empower, Not Replace AI continues to dominate conference discussions, and data certainly leads strategy, but we must remain selective to deploy PropTech solutions that directs our teams with action plans and identifies opportunities for improvement. The ultimate goal with AI should be to enhance efficiency and enable greater focus on delivering customer service. ✨ Emphasis on Experiential From content-rich sessions on the showroom floor, curated events, and optimizing owned marketing, there is a significant focus on raising the bar on creative strategy to deliver memorable customer experiences that foster deeper brand associations.   Our own Kadi Mancuso Rice continued her conference wellness tradition, joining forces with Jessica Acosta-Rubio to guide 50+ attendees through Philly's iconic landmarks! Social events such as dinner with Engrain and a baseball game with RealPage, Inc. made an already phenomenal event that much more meaningful as we continue to drive forward a bright future for multifamily together.
