June is a month of celebration as we honor both the Global Day of Parents on June 1 and Father's Day later this month. These occasions remind us of the essential roles parents play in shaping our lives, both at home and in the workplace. As we mark the Global Day of Parents, let's reflect on the pivotal role of HR in supporting parental leave policies and work-life balance initiatives. HR teams play a crucial part in creating family-friendly workplaces where parents can thrive professionally while nurturing their families. Father's Day is a time to recognize the dedication of fathers everywhere. From supporting flexible work arrangements to promoting a supportive culture, HR departments play a key role in championing equality and inclusivity for working fathers. To all the fathers and parents, your commitment is truly appreciated. 🙌 How does your organization support parental leave and work-life balance? Share your thoughts on the role of HR in fostering a supportive environment for parents in the workplace. Let's continue to champion parenthood and fatherhood, supported by thoughtful HR practices that enhance employee well-being and engagement. #GlobalDayOfParents #Fatherhood #HRSupport #WorkLifeBalance #FathersDay #EmployeeEngagement

DIVERSITY, EQUITY & INCLUSION | PARENTAL LEAVE PROGRAMS Many of us have experienced the multitude of emotions and feelings as we have prepared to take time off work for parental leave. Feelings and emotions that relate to both our personal and professional life. We see that in many organisations there isn’t a huge amount of support for parents preparing for, and returning, from parental leave. It’s often just the parental leave policy and procedure and perhaps support from HR. The Learning Circle runs in-house programs for organisations that want to do more than the basics for parents. We run engaging and practical programs for parents around how they prepare for parental leave – their considerations both from a professional and personal perspective, how they prepare and have a conversation with their leader, how they remain connected and drive their career aspirations, and how they return to the workplace. We run programs for leaders to support them in being the best leader they can be with advice on how to support and have a conversation about parental leave. And, we also run programs for parents in the early days of their return to the workplace – how they manage the work-life blend, how they set themselves up for success again. Get in touch if you’d like to hear more about how The Learning Circle can help you support your people in their transition to, and from, parental leave. #DEI #Parentalleaveprograms #maternity #paternity #leadershipdevelopment #Diversity #Equity #Inclusion

Brand & Marketing @ Parentaly | Mom 👧🏻👧🏻 | Producer of The False Tradeoff podcast | Brand & Culture Builder | Photographer | DMs open: parental leave, policy, benefits & working parenthood!
Two years! Today marks two full years of doing work that I love at Parentaly. Feels like just yesterday I hopped on a flight to Chicago to meet the team on my first day. I was our fifth employee and first marketing hire. And helping grow this company into what it is today has been the most rewarding and exciting years of my career yet: 🥹 Thousands of parents coached and managers trained on navigating parental leave transitions 💪 Hundreds of conversations with HR leaders looking to improve the parental leave experience for their employees 🤩 Tens of thousands of folks in our universe who support our mission to make the workplace better for parent employees & their teams These numbers remind me that what we’re doing - what I’ve helped build these last two years - really matters. Not gonna lie, before finding Parentaly…this idea of career-focused parental leave programming never crossed my mind. I knew being a working parent was hard, but I didn’t think twice about WHY I struggled when I returned to work after having kids. So as I celebrate two years in a job I’m passionate about, I’m also reflecting on why it’s worth celebrating in the first place: Because I’m really proud to be part of a team focused on helping parents thrive at work and home. 🫶
