If you're struggling to fill positions within your company, a staffing agency can be a cost-effective and time-saving solution. Staffing agencies have access to a vast network of qualified candidates and can often fill positions quicker than traditional hiring methods. However, simply working with a staffing agency doesn't guarantee success. Here are some tips on how to improve your pipeline when hiring through a staffing agency:
Clearly Define Your Needs: Before reaching out to a staffing agency, make sure you have a clear understanding of the role you're hiring for. This includes the required skills, experience, and any other qualifications. Share this information with the staffing agency to ensure they are identifying candidates who meet your specific needs.
Create an Attractive Job Description: A well-written job description will attract top talent. Work with the staffing agency to create a compelling job description that showcases your company culture and the benefits of working for your organization.
Be Responsive: When a staffing agency presents a candidate for review, respond promptly. If you're interested in the candidate, schedule an interview as soon as possible. This will help prevent the candidate from accepting another job offer while you are still in the interview process.
Provide Feedback: After each interview, provide feedback to the staffing agency. This will help them better understand your needs and refine their search for future candidates.
Maintain Communication: Stay in touch with the staffing agency throughout the hiring process. Ask for updates on the status of your search and provide any additional information as needed.
Working with a staffing agency can be a cost-effective and efficient way to fill open positions. By following these tips, you can improve your pipeline when hiring through a staffing agency and find the right candidate for your organization.

I QUIT!!!!
If you’re in the hospitality industry you are probably very familiar with high turnover.
But whose fault is it…?
Top positions such as executive chefs, restaurant managers, and marketing experts are in constant demand.
One bad night and BOOM!!! 💥
According to LinkedIn 30% of people leave a job not because of their wages, but because of how they're managed!!!
To tackle the challenge of retaining top talent in this competitive market starts with investing in people!
Offering opportunities for growth and development, and providing regular feedback “good & bad” as well recognition.
There should also be a path forward in terms of growth within the company set in place.
Addressing high turnover in hospitality requires a proactive approach, including conducting exit interviews “highly over looked!” to identify underlying issues, implementing retention strategies.
Think about this way if you have 10 of the same dishes sent back a night you wouldn’t blame in on the costumer you’d find out what’s wrong with the dish.
If people are exiting your company in droves it might not be the people…. 🤔 #hiring#restaurants#recruit#hospitality#nowhiring
What led you to become a recruitment consultant? ✏️
Transitioning from a chef to a recruitment consultant may seem like a big leap, but for me, it was a natural progression. As a chef, I discovered my talent for recognising and nurturing potential in my team, whether it was a skilled chef or a talented waitress. This passion for talent development led me to a fulfilling career in recruitment.
While the transition from culinary arts to recruitment was significant, I found that many of the skills I developed in the kitchen were transferable. The ability to excel under pressure, think quickly, and communicate effectively were valuable in both fields. However, what truly drew me to become a recruitment consultant was the opportunity to assist individuals in finding their ideal career paths and helping companies build strong, skilled teams.
I am grateful for the journey that led me to this rewarding point in my career. It's a fulfilling role that allows me to positively influence both candidates and clients.

Picture a world-class chef applying for a position at a Michelin-starred restaurant, only to be served a microwave meal during the interview. Absurd, right? Yet, in the realm of recruitment, similarly underwhelming experiences are often served to candidates.
What are the hidden costs of a poor Candidate Journey?
When job seekers encounter a subpar recruitment process, the fallout extends far beyond a single missed opportunity:
🛡 Brand Reputation Takes a Hit: In our hyper-connected world, negative experiences spread like wildfire.
🛑 Potential Customers Lost: Ever considered that today's applicant could be tomorrow's big client?
⏳ Time-to-Hire Stretches: Top talent drops out, leaving you with a dwindling pool of candidates.
📈 Recruitment Costs Soar: Longer processes and wider sourcing nets quickly inflate budgets.
At Artis, we're passionate about turning this tide.
We ensure candidates receive the red-carpet treatment through a tailored approach to collaboration. By immersing ourselves in our clients' culture, we become authentic brand ambassadors. We champion communication throughout the process, from providing deep role insights to comprehensive interview preparation, keeping candidates informed and valued every step of the way.

Did an underqualified candidate get the position I deserved?

Ever been recruited for a job only to have it given to someone under-qualified? 🤔
I was contacted for a design manager position at a pizza restaurant that was expanding. I had the experience and qualifications, but the job went to a family friend of the owner instead. 😕
