AI in CX isn’t as game changing as everyone says…at least, not yet. It’s still early days for this technology, much like a newborn of a pro athlete, it’s got potential but there’s a long road ahead to live up to the hype :) (You like that analogy lol) Don’t get me wrong, that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t explore, create, or invest in AI. What I’m saying is, treat this as the beginning. We’re going to look back in five years and laugh at how basic our tools were. So, if you’re worried about falling behind, take a deep breath. Prepare for the AI revolution at your own pace and don’t rush to keep up with every trend. If you're ready to dive into AI, hold off on going all in. Start with a solid plan and roadmap. Be skeptical of demos that make big promises, this tech isn’t ready to take over just yet, especially in areas like customer experience. My advice is to look into well established AI tools like agent assist, automated QA, and summarization. But be cautious about getting on board with the latest 2024 LLM bot, those still scare me.
