White board wisdom for today. Being a great welder is fine but it can't over come a poor attitude and laziness. that's why we focus on so much more then welding here at OWI

What would #shipbuilding be without #welding? Whether large cruise ships, smaller river cruise vessels or special ships - we could not build them without the various welding processes. The constant further development of these processes and techniques is accordingly of great importance to us and the membership in the DVS – Deutscher Verband für Schweißen und verwandte Verfahren e. V. (German Association for Welding and Allied Processes) offers the possibility of exchange with other specialists. Yesterday a working group of the association met with us in Papenburg to exchange experiences. Representatives from MEYER WERFT GmbH & Co. KG gave the members insights into industry-specific topics of welding in shipbuilding practice or quality assurance through "non-destructive testing". Sven Kronner, Welding Supervisor of the German company group, concluded positively: "The participants were impressed by the visit to the shipyard, particularly by the integration and implementation of materials testing, welding technology, and quality in shipbuilding. Such events underscore the importance of #exchange and #collaboration within the industry to ensure consistently high-quality standards and to drive forward innovative solutions." #meyerwerft #meyergroup #welding #joinourteam #ShipbuildingWithPassion #beapioneer
