#MHDay2024 Menstrual Health Day 2024! This year I learned that May 28th is deemed Menstrual Hygiene Day! It is "observed to highlight good menstrual hygiene practices during your period and to raise awareness about the importance of access to menstrual products, period education, and sanitation facilities." Menstruation impacts nearly all women at some point in their journey...our journey. Menstruation impacts every area of life, simply in our beings as girls, teens, women, wives, moms and more. Learning that only "39% of schools worldwide provide menstrual health education, and 31% do not have menstrual waste bins in girls' bathrooms. Many girls are unprepared for menstruation before their first period." Let's continue to spread Menstrual Health Awareness, fight to end period poverty and normalize the average process of life together! ✨❤️

Here is one: If a girl misses school five days each month due to menstruation, she misses a staggering 60 days of education a year—often due to ingrained social norms that create shame and limit access to proper hygiene facilities. Don't Talk About Periods Many of us have been taught for so long, never to talk about periods openly. This taboo and stigma around menstruation has impacted the education, health and social equity of menstruators despite it being a very natural biological process. A collective commitment is important to break these taboos. Our problem-solving products are not just about comfort; they are about changing the conversation around periods. We are on a constant drive to conduct educational sessions on menstrual health amongst schools, colleges, corporates and underprivileged areas. We can break down the taboos around periods and enable menstruators to get the help and resources they require by having open conversations about them.
