Meet the faculty: Module 8 Christopher Brannigan- Interpreting Whitehall Chris Brannigan is the Managing Director of Kingsgate Political Communications Ltd and a senior fellow at both Policy Exchange and the Council on Geostrategy. He was a Special Adviser at No10 Downing St and was separately appointed by both Theresa May and Boris Johnson, firstly as Director of Government Relations and secondly to the No1o Policy Unit. He has been CEO of a national trade association, a political campaigner and strategy adviser to a broad range of commercial clients at national level. He is also a former British Army Officer. OVERVIEW This module will provide participants with the understanding to interpret for themselves how the Whitehall system behaves and enable them to more successfully engage with it. It provides an overview of structure and operation, internal culture and communication and enables participants to align their interests with those of our civil service in an effective manner. It describes, from experience, how to build constructive relationships and consider the analysis and decision-making process within Whitehall, in order to more fully integrate your business with their process.
