The social media especially on X as been awash of the harrowing incident involving the recent kidnapping of Alhaji Mansoor Al-Kadriyar and his six children. Tragically, one of the children, Nabeeha, has already lost her life, and the kidnappers are demanding a staggering 100 million naira ransom. Hence, this appalling event underscores the urgent need for the government and security agencies to rise to their duties and swiftly address the escalating crisis of kidnappings. However, I implore the government and security agencies to take immediate action by: 1. Mobilizing all available resources to secure the safe release of Alhaji Mansoor's remaining children. 2. Conducting a thorough investigation to apprehend the perpetrators and bring them to justice for this heinous crime. 3. Strengthening security measures in vulnerable areas to prevent further incidents of kidnapping. 4. Cooperating with affected communities to provide support and reassurance during these trying times. It is important to note that the safety and well-being of our citizens are paramount, and it is imperative that every effort is made to ensure the swift resolution of this crisis. The government and security agencies must work collaboratively to protect our people from the terror inflicted by these criminals.
