Brand Strategist | helps to empower businesses, by crafting compelling and authentic brand identities.
During a trip from my hometown to my workplace with my son, our bus stopped for a lunch break. My son, a fan of Lays chips, insisted on getting a packet. While I don't usually indulge in it, his enthusiasm sparked my curiosity. Reading the packet, he discovered it was a product of PepsiCo Ltd... This led me to ponder the origins of Lays, including how it acquired its name and the factors behind its success. Let me summarize the key points for you.

Simple POV When a big company buys a small one, it can go either way. The big company’s resources can help the small one grow, or the small company can get overlooked and stop thriving. PepsiCo buying Siete for $1.2 billion might not seem like much to PepsiCo, which is huge compared to Siete. Success depends on how important Siete is to PepsiCo and how well they combine their strengths while keeping Siete’s unique culture. It’s a big win for Siete, but only time will tell how it turns out for its fans and employees. We don’t know what will happen next. Look at the history 👇🏼 https://lnkd.in/eH2672yu

As a product designer, I am passionate about translating user insights into elegant, intuitive solutions. By combining empathy, creativity, and perseverance, I craft products that deliver transformative experiences.
I want to start this week by sharing a personal story that reminded me of the importance of celebrating small wins in our lives and careers. My wife has been trying to make popovers, a type of pastry that requires a lot of precision and patience, in our smart oven. She has done this numerous times. She followed the recipe and the instructions, but they never came out right. They were either too flat or too dense. She was about to give up, but she decided to give it one more try with the traditional oven. And guess what? They were perfect! They were golden, crispy, and airy, just like the ones we had at a bakery. We enjoyed them with some butter and jam, and it was a delicious treat. This made me think about how sometimes we overlook the small wins in our lives, and how they can have a bigger impact when they add up. The same goes for our jobs. What we do sometimes might seem small in scale or scope, but every win is important and contributes to our overall goals and vision. That's why I think it's important for managers to recognize and appreciate the small wins of their teams, and celebrate them together. A team that grows together, wins together. A team that celebrates together, stays together. So, I want to ask you: What are some small wins that you are proud of this week? How do you celebrate them with your team? Let me know in the comments below, and let's spread some positivity and gratitude!

Don’t neglect your staff or they will neglect you! You know, some folks think handing out an "Employee of the Year" award is just a cheap corporate trick. A way to boost morale without actually investing in your team. Well, not in my book! I've got a whole crew of incredible people working for me - each and every one of them deserving of recognition. But you better believe I make sure to honor the cream of the crop every single year, without fail. Why? Because they've earned it, plain and simple. These folks aren't just employees, they're part of my success. People forget this too often. If you run a biz that requires staff, you are nothing without them. Mine have been with me through thick and thin, always going above and beyond to get the job done right. So when that time of year rolls around, you can bet your bottom dollar I'm proudly presenting them. Not checking some HR box - it's about showing genuine appreciation for everything they bring to the table. Some might call it overkill, handing out awards left and right. Employee of the Year is not cheap pizza night at my office. These are real humans with real families of their own. Don’t ever forget this… Your staff aren’t just putting food on THEIR tables… … they’re putting food on YOURS!
