We’re #UMNproud to share that the exceptional work of University of Minnesota School of Nursing Doctor of Nursing Practice student Jo Bjorgaard, BSN, RN, PHN, CSSBB, and Clinical Professor Teddie Potter, PhD, RN, FAAN, is featured as the December cover story for the Challenges journal from MDPI. The article is titled, “Reducing Environmental Impacts at a Midwestern Academic Medical Center: Making Carbon Emissions Reduction a Reality.” This work represents the initial phase of the overarching goal to develop carbon reduction strategies and a climate action plan within the health system.
