I'm collecting "case studies"! It's so easy to be negative about all the things higher education is "not" or needs to "improve", but as we start 2024 - I want to collect the "bright spots"! Whether it's your institution or not (or not even a higher ed institution in the "traditional" sense), drop your best and most innovative case studies, below! #highereducation #innovation #casestudy #future PS - keeping to my new year's resolution, I made this image with DALL.E!
The faculty-led programs ("Dialogue of Civilizations") Northeastern offers each summer are quite impressive (usually 80+!). Tons of great work goes into ensuring the programs are ethical, safe, experiential, and impactful. The team is led by Meisha Swaby ! Worth a browse at some of the topics 😍 https://geo.northeastern.edu/browse-programs/?from=filter-bar&p_program_type=24&
Would particularly be interested to hear how people are focusing on employee wellbeing alongside student success!

9moIt's very self-serving, but I couldn't be happier with the rapid learning opportunities we've been able to create around AI at Tuck! From sprint courses to experiential learning, training for students, staff, and faculty, leading the Dartmouth AI Conference bringing thought leaders to talk AI, faculty research, and innovation inside the curriculum, too. Higher Ed takes a lot of heat for being slow, but that's not always the case. Many of our students at Tuck were AHEAD of the companies they joined this past summer when it comes to AI understanding and application! It's not a formal case, but a great example of how higher education is sometimes ahead of the curve!
