I help CEO's - GM's & MD's build world class kaizen cultures without curtailing your innovation or killing your vision. COO in training | SCRUM Master | CSPO | Culture & Process Improvement Coach | Speaker | Investor
Watch this video if you want to know how the Kaizen Project Delivery 10 step process turns around underperforming teams fast. (Part 2 of 4) “Mastery requires endless remastery. In fact, I don’t believe there is ever true mastery. It is a process, not a destination. That’s what few winners realize and explains to some degree why repeating is so difficult. Having triumphed, winners come to believe that the process of mastery is concluded and that they are its proud new owners.” Bill Walsh #kaizen #constructionindustry #scrummaster

Implementing Kaizen, can be challenging, especially when trying to sustain it over the long term. People often resist new ways of doing things, especially if they're used to a particular process. Convincing everyone to embrace Kaizen requires consistent effort and communication. #kaizen #engineerkhurram #leanconsultant #culture

Kaizen Event teams are not just multidisciplinary, there are also distinct team roles that you should pay attention to. For a successful Kaizen Event, bringing the right capabilities to the table is crucial. Think about who would be good fits in the roles of Leader, Process owner, Senior manager, Kaizen Coach and which additional Team members you'll need for their process-specific know-how. One of the tips you'll find in the video is that you probably want 2 people who are experienced in leading Kaizen Events; filling the different roles of Leader and Coach for the team often leads to much better discussions and a sort of freedom to dive into the work knowing that 'the other' will have their back on the organisational and methodological front. Teamwork and collaboration with really does work.
It's truly inspiring to see the power of collaboration and innovation within our teams during Kaizen week, coached by Redzone’s Eric. This week serves as a testament to what can be achieved when we come together, leveraging lean tools and digital technologies to delve deep into the underlying issues that challenge us. By uniting our efforts, we're not only identifying the root causes of our problems but are also crafting effective corrective actions that pave the way for sustainable improvement. This process of collective problem-solving not only accelerates our progress but also fosters a culture of continuous learning and development. It's a clear demonstration of how, through teamwork and the smart application of technology, we can overcome obstacles and achieve our goals, setting new benchmarks for excellence in our industry. #Redzone #Digitaltransformation #smartindustry #Lean #ContinuousImprovement #teamwork

Today, I want to talk about a principle that has made a huge impact in both my professional and personal life: Kaizen. Kaizen is all about continuous improvement! It’s not just a one-time effort, but a philosophy of making small, incremental changes consistently over time to achieve significant results 🚀 In my journey, adopting Kaizen has helped me to not only streamline my workflows and enhance productivity, but also to foster a mindset of growth and adaptability. Whether it's refining a project process, learning a new skill, or even improving daily habits, the essence of Kaizen lies in the commitment to making things better, one step at a time. What small changes have made the biggest impact for you? 😊 #kaizen #continuousimprovement #growthmindset #productivity #personaldevelopment

One of the standout pieces from my recent Lean Program journey was KAIZEN! Collaborating with colleagues, fostering a sense of unity, and driving positive change together! Kaizen: For those unfamiliar, Kaizen is all about harnessing the collective intelligence of the team. It's about recognising that every team member, regardless of role, holds valuable insights that can propel us forward. Sharing a snapshot from a memorable Kaizen meeting where ideas flowed, collaboration soared, and our collective creativity sparked transformative solutions. 🔗 Connecting: I believe in the power of the collective. If you're passionate about continuous improvement, Kaizen, or just want to share your thoughts, let's connect! #Kaizen #ContinuousImprovement #Teamwork #LeanProgram #InnovationJourney

Kaizen Events are high-intensity team efforts that produce tangible results in a relatively short amount of time. To make that work, you'll need to prepare the event properly. By going over these 6 steps your Kaizen Events can hit the ground running and you'll have the best chance for success. You'll want to Define the Scope and Goal, do your Initial Data Collection, select a Team, set Outcome Expectations, set up the Resources (including 'the Room'), and prepare the Kick-off. Of course you can split these out into detailed points, but these are the main topics you want to cover before bringing the whole team together. The Team Lead, Process Owner and a more Senior Manager should be involved in this preparation, to set the rights expectations and organise the needed resources (more on those team roles in another video 😉). #continuousimprovement #kaizenevent #kaizen https://lnkd.in/ei4zE3_E

🌀 **Today's Kaizen Course: A Moment of Reflection and Resolve** Today's operational excellence course on Kaizen was more than just educational—it was a profound moment of introspection. We were challenged to identify improvements, not just for efficiency's sake, but to address deeper issues that sometimes tempt us to consider walking away. **The Heart of the Matter**: We dove into the tough questions. What changes could make us let go of the thought of quitting? It was a raw and emotional discussion that acknowledged the difficulties we face, especially regarding On-Time Delivery (OTD). **The Shared Burden**: It's clear that when commitments falter, the pressure doesn't distribute evenly. Often, it's customer service feeling the brunt, operating in urgency mode, while the rest of the organization might not share the same level of concern. This disconnect was the spark for a heated conversation today. **The Kaizen Task**: We're left with the task of creating a Kaizen card—an opportunity to distill our thoughts into actionable change. It's a chance to move from frustration to improvement, from feeling overlooked to creating a plan that demands attention. Today reaffirmed my commitment to not just endure but to enhance and also would want to give a special shout out to Angelica (Angie) Garcia that sparked that conversation on the OTD, and not just work but to transform. I'm curious to hear from you all—how do you channel workplace challenges into opportunities for growth and change? #Kaizen #ContinuousImprovement #OperationalExcellence #WorkplaceTransformation

Transforming Culture, Processes, Products, and Customer Experience | Design Thinking | TPS/Kanban | Kaizen | Digital Transformation | Recognized by Niti Aayog (2019), BFSI World Congress (2024)
#ToyotaProductionSystem(#TPS) #Kaizen = Humility and Respect Kaizen, in principle, is humility itself. It nudges us to recognize there is always room for improvement. To embed Kaizen, #ContinuousImprovement, as a culture: 1. #Listen to every team member's ideas on improvement and #provide space and time to implement these ideas. In essence, genuinely respect each team member's perspective. 2. #Train every team member to focus on value-adding activities and constructively #challenge them to identify and eliminate waste in their process every month. This commitment shows respect for the time, energy, and materials used. 3. #Support the career growth and job security of team members to foster fearless and enthusiastic participation in improving efficiency. This is the cornerstone for building respect and loyalty within the organization. Practicing Kaizen as a #dailyroutine leads to motivated teams, maximized efficiencies, improved quality, and reduced costs.
