Are you curious how SJTs are being used in admissions, and what other students have experienced when they completed them? Check out the results of the 2023 HPSA/SDN SJT survey to learn more. Thank you to everyone who responded to our survey! https://lnkd.in/ghDBdsAU
We are very excited to announce that our Situational Judgment Test Experience survey results have been released! We detail the experiences of 147 health professional school applicants (mostly pre-meds), most with competitive GPAs and test scores, as they navigated the SJTs required for admissions. These results provide insights into how schools may be using SJTs in the admissions process. Great work by Emil Chuck and the rest of the HPSA team! Learn more here: https://lnkd.in/gjipcHEE

#education #quality #student Students are the prime beneficiaries and stakeholders of any education system. Whatever we design, whatever services we provide, and whoever works in this sector are all there for ensuring students' learning. If the majority of them cannot learn and achieve their expected competencies, we must question the quality of our education system. We must go to our students first to introspect why they failed to learn. We must know from our main beneficiaries regarding what went wrong and what changes we need to bring in to address this challenge. The next group to consult should be their parents and then their teachers. In reality, we often do not even think of going to them, rather we, so called armchair education experts, pretend that we know everything. From a long distance from the ground reality we try to assume the reasons behind poor quality of education and address them through some ideas and strategies derived from our own brains. We prescribe treatments without any proper diagnosis, even without seeing our patients. So, if we want to bring any tangible change in our education system, we must reach out to our key stakeholders and listen to their voices. photo credit- #GPE

Hello folks! I hope you are all doing well In the past few months I have received numerous messages regarding the how's and what's of Mphil preparation. I have launched this keeping in mind the personalised assistance students require when it comes to their study patterns and schedules. The sessions will be for 30 mins each, one on one, zoom video calls wherein doubts will be cleared and guidance will be provided regarding entrance preparation. It will also include follow up sessions to ensure that one stays on track and in case of any difficulties they are well dealt with DM for any queries and see you all soon on zoom.... 😊 #mphilclinicalpsychology #entrance #clinicalpsychology
