I can join on one condition. HR: Tell me the condition? Candidate: I won't be serving any notice period in your company during the time of separation. HR: We have a policy of 3-month notice period. #noticeperiod #corporatelife

REAL SCENARIO: Candidate: My notice is 90 days but I'm on bench so I can take an early release & join immediately. I already have another offer in hand. They are giving me a good hike. HR: if you can join immediately Why aren't you joining that company you already have the offer from? why are you shopping for another offer? Candidate: It's in another city, I need to relocate. HR: Are you already serving your notice? Candidate: No, I'm on bench & I can take early release as 15 days HR: Are you sure about it? Did you speak to your HR/manager? Candidate: No but I have seen other candidates take early releases HR: We can offer you if you can join immediately Candidate: Yes I can. Next day: In Interview with Panel: No Show Not Answering calls. Later that night (text received) Candidate: Sorry wouldn't want to proceed ahead. My opinion: Why promising things that you cannot make-up to?
