For more than 10 years, we've been honoured to partner with Cultural Vistas and the Korean Consulate to help participants of the Korea West programme develop their language and professional skills. 'Westies' as our New York school affectionately calls this group of graduates and young professionals, are a select group, who are only accepted onto the programme after a rigorous application and screening process. We've also been lucky enough to host several talented interns at our schools and offices across the US, with a current participant now working on our Chicago school team and a former Westie who is now part of our Seoul-based Customer Care team. So here's a thank you to all our Korea West interns and students, past and present! 1moAn internship is such a great introduction into the world of work. Spending a year in industry - what they used to call a sandwich placement - is a common offering on UK degree programmes these days and I think it's so valuable if you can do this.
