On the busiest corridors in the US, drivers lose over 100 hours per year due to congestion. Particularly during peak times, delays are impacting commuters. 🌍 Making infrastructure sustainable - one gantry at a time! 🚧 Together with ASFINAG, we have installed the first operational "Green Gantry" made from renewable timber on a highway in Carinthia, Austria. 🌱 Reduced CO2 footprint: by using renewable timber, the Green Gantry binds 15 tons of CO2 compared to the up to 30 tons produced by steel gantries. 🌿 Environmental Benefits: With a lifespan of at least 20 years, the gantry can be dismantled and reused, minimizing environmental impact. ⚙️ Technical Features: Features weather-resistant layers and is powered by its own photovoltaic system with battery storage to ensure continuous operation.
