Glenda Morgan reports that as of May 10th, FAFSA completions for high school students are 17.2% below last year’s numbers. This gap is even more pronounced among lower-income and high-minority districts, both showing a 20.1% decrease. The variations between states are striking, with Mississippi seeing a 25.0% drop and Indiana a 3.8% decrease. This decline will undoubtedly impact enrollment this year and, as Morgan highlights in her recent article, possibly next fall as well. At Anthology, we partner with institutions, acting as an extension of their teams, to ensure they have the capacity to serve students who want to enroll but face barriers. Our tailored outreach strategies help re-engage prospective and current students supporting student success and helping to mitigate enrollment declines. Let’s work together to bridge these gaps and ensure every student has the opportunity to succeed. #HigherEd #StudentSuccess #EnrollmentManagement #FAFSA
