    As GCSE results day approaches for students across the UK tomorrow, both of these quotes posted by Steven Bartlett seem very apt. The hardest part is often the waiting and not knowing as it can feel so out of control. However, the shock and reality of finding out the results can feel like a form of grief if they are not what students were hoping for. It can help to identify these stages, which are: 1. Shock and denial 2. Pain and guilt 3. Anger and bargaining 4 . Depression and sadness 5. Upward turn 6. Reconstruction and working through 7. Acceptance and hope Wishing you well for results day whether you’re an educator, parent or student as we’re all very involved in different ways! I hope that some of these words help if you or someone you know, needs to hear them.
