Clearbot : Révolutionner le nettoyage des déchets plastiques Clearbot, une startup de Hong Kong, a été inspirée par la crise de pollution plastique à Bali. Les cofondateurs Sidhant Gupta et Utkarsh Goel ont observé les habitants utiliser des planches de surf pour collecter les déchets et ont imaginé une meilleure solution. Ils ont créé un bateau sans équipage, alimenté à l'énergie solaire, qui collecte de manière autonome les déchets plastiques des rivages et des voies navigables. Le bateau peut ramasser 200 kilos de déchets, avec un modèle plus grand bientôt capable de gérer 450 kilos. Les bateaux Clearbot à zéro émission sont sûrs, écologiques et équipés de caméras pour le suivi des déchets. Un collecteur flottant qui nettoie nos rivières de manière autonome ! Il capture jusqu'à 20 kg de déchets par jour, des détritus aux microplastiques. La Seabin Foundation a développé cette poubelle flottante pour équiper marinas, ports et clubs nautiques. En 2023, cet ingénieux dispositif a filtré 15 milliards de litres d'eau, piégeant microplastiques et déchets, et collectant 5 millions de fragments plastiques.
