Trust: The Foundation for High-Performance Teams
Trust fuels collaboration, innovation, and resilience—core elements for high-performing teams. Over the past two months, I’ve emphasized trust during leadership training with my DEA investigative teams, sharing insights from Simon Sinek, Rich Diviney, Douglas Conant, Stephen Covey, and Harvard Business Review (HBR) articles. But knowing trust matters isn’t enough—how do you measure it?
To answer that, we used The Attributes' Trust Fall Assessment, which measures the level of trust on teams by evaluating four elements: competency, consistency, character, and compassion.
With the results now in hand, we’ll focus on elevating trust to drive our performance to defeat the Sinaloa and CJNG Cartels and their criminal networks who are trafficking their deadly fentanyl and methamphetamine into our communities.
