𝗪𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗻’𝘁 𝗽𝘂𝘁 𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝗹𝗲𝗴𝘀… This puppy came to us in agonizing pain after a hit-and-run incident. She was showing obvious signs of fractures. With her back legs bent, we have no choice but to resort to amputation, while our diligent vets do their best to save her front leg.🐾 Despite receiving primary treatments and life-saving drugs, her blood loss can only be rectified through emergency surgery. This is the heartbreaking aftermath of animal cruelty — one tied to reckless driving and ill intentions. 🙏 Please pray for this young puppy in her critical condition. You can also join us in saving her life by donating whatever you can. It’s through your help and support that we can continue to heal animals like her. 💖 [Donate, animals, animal cruelty, , dogs, health, pain, amputation, surgery, reckless driving, animal welfare] #KarmaFoundation #animalsinneed #Donate #AnimalRescue #animaltrust #animalfoundation #rescuemission #animalcruelty #helpusheal #stopanimalcruelty #DonateNow

🚨Double your impact for animals in Ukraine As the war in Ukraine continues, countless pets have been left abandoned, lost, or in danger. Many are trapped in conflict zones, facing starvation, injury, and illness. Veterinarians Without Borders/Vétérinaires Sans Frontières (VWB/VSF) North America is on the ground, providing life-saving veterinary care, food, and shelter to these vulnerable animals. One such animal is Zhulia, a dog rescued from the streets of Donetsk amidst heavy shelling. Her story is one of survival and hope—after receiving emergency care, she is now thriving in a safe home where she can recover from PTSD. But thousands of animals still need our help. 📢 This holiday season, your donation will be matched, having double the impact for animals like Zhulia. Here’s how your contribution can make a difference: ➡️ $28 can feed 10 pets for a month ➡️ $105 could help evacuate 4 animals to safety ➡️ $500 can support the rescue of 400 animals from conflict zones By giving today, you can save twice as many lives and provide the care these animals desperately need. 👉 vwb.org/holidays Let’s come together to support animals impacted by war and give them the second chance they deserve. #VeterinaryCare #AnimalRescue #Ukraine #HolidayMatch #DoubleImpact #CorporateSocialResponsibility #NonProfit

Ratan Tata: A Legacy of Compassion for Animals Ratan Tata's passing has left every Indian heart heavy. Beyond his business achievements, he was a true champion for animal welfare. His Instagram posts often featured dog adoptions, calls for blood donations for injured animals, and appeals to support strays. He also established top-tier hospitals for animals and generously donated to animal charities. In a society where many see community dogs as a nuisance, Ratan Tata stood for empathy. If someone of his stature could show such compassion, why can't we? His legacy teaches us that kindness towards animals is not just admirable but necessary. As we honor his memory, let’s embrace his example. Let’s stop the harassment of caregivers and feeders, and instead foster empathy towards animals. Ratan Tata’s work has sparked a global conversation about compassion. It’s up to us to continue his mission and create a world where kindness to animals is the norm. Let’s make this change—one act of compassion at a time. #RatanTata #LegacyOfCompassion #AnimalWelfare #CommunityDogs #BeKindToAnimals #AnimalRights #CompassionForAll #DogLovers #AnimalCare #EmpathyMatters #InspireChange #KindnessCounts #HonorHisLegacy #StopHarassment #CareForAnimals

Understanding Donor Fatigue in Animal Shelters and Rescues: The Impact of Constant Donation Requests. This a topic never discussed and with shelters beyond their capacity, the issue is real in saving the lives of vulnerable animals. However, the constant stream of heart-wrenching photos and stories, coupled with urgent pleas for donations to provide critical veterinary care, can lead to a phenomenon known as donor fatigue. This exhaustion stems from being inundated with requests for financial support, often accompanied by distressing images of animals in need. Animal shelters and rescues are faced with the challenge of saving lives with the need to secure funding for their operations. While these organizations rely on the compassion and generosity of donors to continue their lifesaving work, the relentless nature of fundraising appeals can take a toll on supporters. Constant exposure to emotional appeals and urgent calls for donations can desensitize donors and lead to feelings of helplessness or guilt. The pressure to donate in response to heartbreaking stories of dogs in crisis can create “donor burnout”. When individuals feel overwhelmed by the sheer volume of donation requests and the emotional weight of these appeals, they may become less inclined to contribute or disengage from supporting animal welfare causes altogether. Remember, they are all pleading for funds from the same resource. it's clear shelters need to be more creative with fundraising by developing relationships at a local level to secure a dependable donation that alleviates stress for the rescue. #pets #rescuesandshelters #petadvocacy #buildingrelationships

More animals than ever are roaming the streets of Ukraine. Will you help them get the food and care they need and deserve? On this 2nd anniversary of the Ukraine war, we launch our Ukraine Emergency Response Project. Sadly, two years on, there are still many abandoned family pets roaming the streets in desperate need of nourishment and medical attention. We launch this multifaceted program in collaboration with a broad network of in-country veterinary clinics, animal shelters and hundreds of dedicated volunteers. With the support of our partners we want to provide food, veterinary treatment, and shelter reconstruction to support animals in need, but we need your help. You can make a huge difference today to animals living in the Ukraine war zone by donating to this vital project. For more information on the project > https://lnkd.in/eGJdaiWC Choose to support this work when you donate, and 100% of your donation will go towards the Ukraine Project. #Ukraine #UkraineWar #StandWithUkraine #SupportUkraine #UkraineAnimals #WarAnimals #AnimalsInConflict #SupportAnimals

🐶 Stepping In to Stop the Cycle – 100 Lives, Countless Futures Saved 🚑 On Monday, we launched an urgent offensive against the relentless tide that is pet overpopulation. Today, the fight continues. The numbers don’t lie. Last year alone, 23,621 unwanted and stray animals found their way to our doors. We are in crisis and animals are too! With 89.6% of animals counted during our census in Langa being unsterilised, the number of homeless, hungry, and neglected animals will inevitably skyrocket unless we act now. We refuse to do nothing while unchecked breeding forces a compassionate euthanasia burden on us that we have no desire to carry. We’re back in Langa today and we’re hoping that by the end of the day, we will have sterilised at least 100 animals at our Civic Hall field hospital. When animals are unwanted, they suffer. We see this every day and so every animal sterilised is a victory in our battle against both cruelty and pet overpopulation. We’re changing the narrative, one animal at a time, and we won’t stop until every animal is wanted, every animal has a home and not one healthy animal faces euthanasia. The battle is far from over, we can only win with your support, your donation, your voice. Please step in with us to stop the suffering. We can’t rescue our way out of an animal overpopulation crisis, but we can sterilise our way to a solution, we just can’t do it without you. See our work in action: https://lnkd.in/dTS4Ah4B #sterilise #preventsuffering #sponsoraspay #animaloverpopulation #westepin #animalrescue #strayanimals #animalwelfare #communitysupport #capespca #capetown
