I thought I was the only worried with this escalating and emerging cases of fraud. Most companies wants People with experience only Failing to do background check on them. Even if it's done, HR managers just sweep the results under the carpet. Hiring managers are enticed by someone with 10 years experience and quickly hires them... Only to find they hired the EXPERIENCED FRAUDSTER. Of course there is one company that hired someone who had series of allerged fraud cases from two big companies but the HR from the next company swept that under the carpet. The rest is history what happened to that company too. It is is up to Hiring managers to decide on whether to hire less experienced and train them or continue Hiring experienced thieves. Anyway Most companies don't want to incur training costs that's why they go for Experienced ones.

The guide provides information about nine different types of fraud occurring in the UK. The Better Hiring Institute and its collaborators have defined hiring fraud as any fraud committed during the hiring process - this may be committed by an individual against an organisation, or committed by an entity against a jobseeker. Hiring fraud continues to affect job seekers, employers and recruiters across the UK.... It shows no sign of slowing down and with the use of technology it continues to become more & more sophisticated. One of the latest trends in hiring fraud are 'Reference houses’ providing fake employment, education, bank and identity references for jobseekers.
