Choosing accountancy as my career has changed my life. (But the journey wasn’t that easy) Since childhood, I have seen 2 of my uncles working in accounts and being financially stable. They were a source of inspiration for me. I was in grade 9 when I decided to be an accountant After my A levels, I decided to do CIMA. (The turning point in life) My CIMA was supported by my grandmother. I faced many hurdles during my career: - Financial issues - Language issues (Tamil to English) - Failures Fast forward to 2024 I have: ✅My own accountancy firm with £200k turnover ✅4+ employees ✅Worked with over 150 clients. My career journey has taught me many lessons The most important is to - Be Myself - Keep Learning P.S. Tell me about your career journey in the comments.
