Game Designer and Developer | Unreal Engine, Unity & Blender

I've been experimenting with Procedural Content Generation (PCG), a method that uses algorithms to create game content automatically. This allows developers to generate dynamic environments, characters, and other elements, saving time and enhancing game replayability and uniqueness. I tried PCG for foliage, including grasses, trees, and some static meshes like stones and houses. I only implemented this in a small area because my PC was crying 😂 PCG is great for creating large environments. It's used in games like Minecraft, where each new map is different, and PUBG, where PCG spawns items and weapons, and in almost every game. It also makes the gameflow interesting, keeping the levels unique every time. Check out the attached video to see what I've been working on! 😊 . . . #ProceduralContentGeneration #PCG #UnrealEngine #GameDev #GameDevelopment #GameDesign #IndieGameDev #DynamicEnvironments #Replayability #GameMechanics

Ya working with PCG is always fun but remember once you get satisfaction with what you generated you can bake it to instanced foliage which save you ton lot of memory only in the case where your environment does not requires dynamic environmental changes often btw looking good ❤️.
